Privacy Policy

What worktools.dev collects (very little), what it never sees (your tool input), and who processes data on our behalf.

The Short VersionThe tools run in your browser, so we never receive what you paste or generate. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic request data to serve the site and gives us aggregate traffic numbers. We don't use tracking cookies or analytics scripts. How to verify this →
Effective Date: October 26, 2026Operator: Tektonik Labs LLC

1. Who We Are

worktools.dev is operated by Tektonik Labs LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), which is the data controller for the limited personal data described in this policy.

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to support@worktools.dev.

2. What You Enter Into the Tools

Everything you paste, type, drop, or generate in a tool is processed by JavaScript in your own browser. It is not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to see it. It exists only in your browser tab and is gone when you close or reload the page.

3. Hosting and Request Data (Cloudflare)

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and Cloudflare, Inc. acts as our data processor. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives standard request data whenever your browser loads a page or file: your IP address, browser user agent, the URL requested, the referring page, and the time of the request.

Cloudflare uses this data to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and attacks, and produce the aggregate traffic statistics described below. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm) to tell people apart from automated bots. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

4. Analytics

To understand how many people use the site, we look at the aggregate traffic reports in our Cloudflare dashboard, such as total visits, page requests, and visitor countries. These numbers are calculated by Cloudflare from the request data above.

  • No analytics script runs on the page, and no analytics cookies are set.
  • We see totals and trends only. We don't receive individual request logs, and we don't try to identify or profile visitors.

5. Cookies and Browser Storage

worktools.dev itself doesn't set cookies or store anything in your browser's local storage. The only cookie you may see is Cloudflare's security cookie described in section 3.

6. When You Email Us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to follow up on bug reports or security issues, and we delete it when it's no longer needed for that. We never add you to a mailing list.

7. Advertising and External Links

The site doesn't show ads today. We may add ads from a privacy-focused network such as EthicalAds, which doesn't use tracking cookies or build profiles. If we do, we'll update this policy before the ads go live.

Links to other sites, such as Buy Me a Coffee, take you to services with their own privacy policies.

8. Your Rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)

European Union and United Kingdom

We rely on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) to deliver and secure the site and to measure overall traffic, and on your request when you email us. You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to its use, by emailing us. In practice the only personal data we hold directly is email correspondence, since we can't link request data or tool input to you. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

California

We don't sell or share personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and we don't collect sensitive personal information.

9. Children

worktools.dev is meant for software developers and designers. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under 16 where that age applies).

10. Changes to This Policy

If our practices change, for example when we add a new service provider, we'll update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
